Breaking News: – Motorola Developing a Google Phone
Motorola plans to launch a device with Google in near future that will be sold directly to consumers, the same strategy we saw with the Nexus One.
According to TheStreet.com, the move was revealed in a conference call earlier today with Motorola co-CEO Sanjay Jha, who said the to-be-named device would be one of 20 Smartphone’s the company releases this year. At this point, it’s not clear which carrier, if any, will offer a subsidy on the device.
The move doesn’t come as much of a surprise — when Google debuted the Nexus One… Read the rest of Breaking News: - Motorola Developing a Google Phone

5 Things—The iPhone Could Learn From The iPad
Bluetooth Keyboard Support
Finally! We’ve been clamoring for this one for a while now. We were starting to worry when Apple introduced a new, iPad-specific keyboard, but then the good word came straight from the horses mouth. iPad also comes with Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, letting you connect to devices like wireless headphones or the Apple Wireless Keyboard.
Considering that the Bluetooth stack that the iPhone uses (Qualcomm’s BlueMagic) already supports it, many have assumed that the lack of Bluetooth Keyboard support thus far was either an intentional choice on Apple’s part, or a side effect of the limited Input… Read the rest of 5 Things---The iPhone Could Learn From The iPad

What’s Missing from the Apple iPad?

No Multi-tasking
Running iPhone OS 3.2 means that, at least for now, the iPad is shaping up to be a “one trick at a time” kind of pony. Of course, it’s entirely possible if not probable that Apple will correct this down the line in a forthcoming version of the iPhone OS — maybe even before the tablet ships — but as it currently stands the lack of multi-tasking could be a dealbreaker for some.
No Drag and Drop File Management
Another carryover from the iPhone ecosystem — and not a favorable one, in… Read the rest of What’s Missing from the Apple iPad?

5 things to know about iPhone OS 4.0 firmware
What functionality will it bring? Here’s what we know so far
Apple might be announcing the iSlate tonight, but that doesn’t mean there’s not more to come from Jobs’ big announcement – an updated version of the iPhone firmware to OS 4.0 is on the cards as well.
The questions have already started around this release – what will it be? What functionality will it bring? Why would Apple release this now, rather than the traditional April/May slot?
Well, we’ve dug around for some… Read the rest of 5 things to know about iPhone OS 4.0 firmware
Microsoft planning WinMo 7 phones before 2011
Microsoft looks like it might actually beat predictions and release Windows Mobile 7 before the end of the year.
The news will be welcome to WinMo fans, as not only have they had to put up with news that the OS was delayed, but also that the first mobiles running WM7 won’t be available until 2011.
But sources have told CNET that the operating system will be debuting this year, with manufacturers getting their hands on the
