Users Opinions and Reviews
Garmin-Asus have recently introduced a new nuvifone, this nuvifone is called the A50 and runs Google’s Android OS, it is thought that Android was chosen as many users were unhappy with Garmin-Asus’ hand-crafted OS.
The device comes equipped with a large 3.5-inch HVGA capacitive touch screen, 4GB of internal storage that can be upgraded through its microSD card slot, and a high-sensitivity GPS receiver for location based services. Other features include 802.11b/g WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, and a Qualcomm 7227 ARM 11 processor clocked at 600MHz. It also comes with its own car mount and has cityXplorer maps installed for assistance using public transit in foreign cities.
Pricing and release date details regarding this handset are still not known, however should be revealed soon. A summer 2010 release date is expected, as we find out details which confirm this we will keep you posted.
