big HTC Legend appears on KPN website, teases before the MWCNow that’s just mean – Dutch operator KPN posted the HTC Legend on their site teasing us days before the MWC when it will be officially announced. It’s gone now, but it was on the site just long enough to confirm its existence along with some of its specs and a release date.

big Android powered Garmin Asus nuvifone A50 unveiled

Today the Garmin-Asus alliance announced their next GPS navigation-centered smartphone. The nuvifone A50 runs on Android and packs reportedly some of the best location-based software seen in a smartphone to date.

Garmin-Asus nuvifone A50 features a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen with HVGA resolution, 3 megapixel auto-focus camera with geotagging functionality and 3G support. GPS, Bluetooth, accelerometer sensor, 4GB internal storage and microSD card slot complete the list. It’s not clear yet whether the phone will sport Wi-Fi connectivity or not.

MyTown is an extremely successful free iPhone game that enables users to buy and sell real world locations. Users then get points by “checking in” to locations through their iPhone.
