The problem of Nokia is not yet complete. After having recognized glitches in Nokia N97 despite good performance, the next top model,, Nokia N8 might not meet its rivals, as RIM Black Berry and Apple I phone. Remember that the Finnish company claims to have conquered most of 40% market share on this segment in the first quarter of 2010, and becoming the undisputed leader in its category.
Nokia N8, still unofficial (but a press release should arrive by the end of May), is one of the first mobile terminals with Symbian OS 3 (open-source version derived from Symbian S60) that would revolutionize the range of multimedia smart phones top model of the Finnish company. According to the mobile-review, who put his hands on a pre-production sample, this goal is very far away so much that despite its characteristics, this Smartphone don’t keep promises.
One of the technologies, but little optimized, it is certainly the multi touch rife on most mobile devices. Although Nokia N8 could undergo improvements before its official launch, mobile-review underlines the same problem of dust infiltration underneath the screen, already highlighted with Nokia x 6, although in this case the Smartphone has a good structure and high quality material. Mobile-review criticizes in substance to the new Nokia N8 a lack of identity. Although it is unfair to condemn a product before you test the final version, it would seem that Nokia N8 fails to keep its promises of change on the strategy announced by producer finalize.
