HTC Smartphone shipments increased nearly doubled during the year
Taiwanese HTC manufacturer reported a significant increase in sales of its mobile phones: in June, it was sold to 87.8% more smartphones than in the same month last year. Publication of statistics has stopped falling shares, which lasted from 7 June to a total of 19%. The rapid growth of sales of HTC allows the company to hold the fifth largest world producers of mobile phones — 4th place is Apple.
Much of the success of the HTC is using the Google Android operating system, which, according to Gartner, held in may, 36% of the market of mobile operating systems. This helped HTC take a provision which would allow it to ship the order of 50 million smartphones in this reporting year.
Currently, HTC and Apple between litigation, which had resulted in charges against HTC copy patented technologies of iPhone and iOS. This trial is conducted with another manufacturer of the Android smartphones and production partner of Google-Samsung. Apple filed lawsuits against many companies, but in reality they are aimed at Google, which, according to Apple, copied its multi-sensory interface in its open and free operating system.
