iOS 5 with new multi sensor gestures
In the beta developer builds of iOS 4.3 surfaced four and gestures for very easy and intuitive management of multi-tasking on the iPad. And then, only in iOS 5 such management has found a public sale.

New gestures are turned off by default: they are activated in the settings of the tablet, given that Apple even offered visual examples of what those gestures do. Of course, if the gestures are in conflict with any applications like GarageBand, you should disable them.
