Users Opinions and Reviews
Sony Ericsson has unveiled its new Android handset, the Xperia X10, and is planning to stake its claim for a place in the burgeoning Android market. The new phone is fairly similar to the ‘new crop’ of touch screen phones, packing a super-fast 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a 4-inch high resolution screen. The Xperia X10 has jumped to the head of the Android pack, and has added in a new overlay that’s probably the most comprehensive among other competitors too.
The whole thing has been codenamed the ‘UX’ platform (which stands for User eXperience – you see what they did there). It’s basically a whole new way of locating and playing with media, contacts and social networks – with each aggregated in a ‘spline’ (we’re not too impressed with the naming either. On the contacts side of things, the ‘Timescape’ element allows you to see what’s going on with a whole group of friends in a spline (by the way, this is a fusion of the words ‘spine’ and ‘timeline’ we think – not that that makes it any more palatable).
This means you can see all the photos you’ve tagged with them, all the text messages in a threaded conversation, all the images and emails and multimedia bits and pieces you’ve shared, and even what’s going on with their Facebook and Twitter accounts too.

First of all we focused one thing that What makes this ordinary mobile phone an extraordinary one, is it’s 8 megapixel camera. I know that 8 megapixel camera phones are getting common nowadays but, this phone’s digital camera has the best image quality compared to any other 8 megapixel camera phones available today.
Most camera phone uses standard CMOS image sensor but, this phone uses CCD also known as charge-coupled device technology which is mainly used for professional digital photography. “CCD image sensor offers images at a higher quality and with a higher degree of uniformity. This being said, it’s likely that SoftBank 930SH can offer a photo quality like no other phone out there. “Besides CCD image sensors, it also has even more advanced camera features like ISO 2500, face detection, Pro Pix, night flash and so on.
Sharp 930SH has a 3 inch new mobile ASV screen in 854 x 480 pixel resolution. It has GPS for map navigation purposes. It is also a 3G phone which contains a CMOS camera for the video calls. It has a 100MB internal memory storage. It also has MicroSD card slot which is supported up to 4GB. It’s height x width x thickness is 105 x 48 x 15.2 millimeters and it weighs around 110 grams. Finally, I think it does not have a WI-FI connectivity as it is not stated anywhere in the specifications on other sites.

Users Opinions and Reviews
Samsung B3410 is a new product of Samsung company. The design of the slide out QWERTY keyboard that’s becoming more popular these days and also inclusion of a touch screen. In fact, from Samsung this is fast becoming the default, with a large percentage of their handsets touch enabled, and Samsung are probably the leading manufacturer of touch devices right now.
Samsung B3410 will probably be very competitively priced on the prepay market. The TFT touch screen supports up to 256,000 colors, meaning that legibility in direct sunlight shouldn’t be as much of an issue as on other handsets. The display measures in at 2.6 inches, which is a good size for a phone and overall the phones measures in at 102 x 53 x 16mm, weighing 114g
Where the B3410 isn’t strong, and where its low end status becomes apparent, is in its lack of connectivity. There’s no HSDPA, no Mobile Broadband, there isn’t even any 3G. It does have class 10 GPRS and EDGE, so web browsing on mobile specific sites shouldn’t be too much of an issue, but downloads should be avoided here. Due to the lack of connectivity, the B3410 is a prime candidate for using Opera Mini; Opera Mini offers excellent web browsing options for low end devices that lack 3G, so would be a real bonus on the B3410.
Imaging is also an area where the B3410 suffers, shipping with a 2.0 Megapixel camera. This point n shoot camera is more designed for fun, so people who are more serious about imaging on their phone need to be looking at other devices.
The B3410 does have some media features worth mentioning – an MP3 player which will also play MP4 videos, plus an FM radio. Bluetooth 2.1 is included, which supports wireless audio connectivity, plus allows files and images to be transferred between devices at close range.
So, overall, the Samsung B3410 does serve a purpose, and will surely appeal to its target market. It is a smart looking device, available in a classy looking black color, with a solid, if unexciting feature set. No official release date as yet, watch this space for updates.
