Opera Mobile users has exceeded (100 000 000)

Norwegian company Opera Software proudly announced that the number of unique users of mobile versions of the Opera Web browser one month exceeded 100 million. According to the official press release in January there were 15 million visitors to your Web pages using Opera Mobile and 90.36 m using Opera Mini. The figure of 5.6% exceeds the result December 2010 and 81.6% January of that year.

Opera Mini 5.1 For Android Sheds Beta Tag

Early in March, Opera released its Opera Mini mobile browser, version 5.0 beta, for Android phones. The app has now been polished enough to reach version 5.1 and drop the beta tag it’s been carrying for so long.
The new version doesn’t bring too many major improvements, except overall better stability and improved page layout on those high-end Android phones with huge screens we’ve been seeing lately. For a list of improvements in version 5.0 beta, see here.

Opera is set to unveil Opera Mini for iPhone in a press and partner preview during the 2010 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next week, the Norwegian browser software company said in a statement released earlier today. In addition, the company will be introducing a slew of other Opera-powered devices at its exhibit at MWC.
Small caveat: Opera has yet to submit the iPhone app for approval in the App Store.
